Privacy Policy

Personai (“we”, “the service”) is an online-presence assistant that acts as your disclosed representative online, within limits you set. This policy explains what data we handle and why. Each account is isolated: your data is yours, and no other user can see it.

What we collect

• Account identity. Your Google account identifier, name, and email address, used to sign you in and identify your account.
• Connected channels. With your explicit consent, we access accounts you connect (such as Gmail) to read incoming messages and send replies on your behalf, within the limits you set.
• Your Persona data. Your profile, writing-style settings, memory, mandate (the rules you set), shareable facts, and an audit log of actions taken.
• Messages processed. Inbound messages to your connected channels, and messages visitors leave on your personai, are processed to draft or send replies you control.

How we use it

• To draft and, only where you allow it, send replies in your voice.
• To keep your profile and representation consistent across channels.
• To maintain a tamper-evident record of what your Persona did.

We do not use your data, or the content of messages, to train our own models.

How we protect it

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated per account.
• Access tokens are stored encrypted and never exposed to the browser.
• Message content and credentials are kept out of logs and error reports.
• Only the minimum data a task needs is sent to our AI provider, under terms that exclude training on your data.

People who contact you

When someone emails a connected account or messages your personai, we process their message only to serve you — to draft or send your reply and to keep your records. We do not sell this information or use it for any other purpose. If you delete your account, this data is removed with it.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use processors (hosting, database, AI, and messaging providers) solely to operate the service, and only to the extent needed to do so.

Your rights

You can export your full Persona data or delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. Deletion removes your data from active systems and stored tokens; backups age out on the provider’s retention schedule.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Visitor messages and transient processing data are retained only as long as needed to serve you. Deleted data is removed as described above.
